LittleBIGPlanet is a video game franchise originally created by Media Molecule, with later games being created by Sumo Digital, Tarsier Studios, United Front Games, SCE Studio Cambridge, & more. The first game (LittleBIGPlanet) was released in 2008 & the latest game (Ultimate Sackboy) was released in 2023.

The franchise is most well-recognize for its indiecraft style & lots of creative freedom in the user-generated content field. Not only can you make your own platformer levels & minigames, but you can also make complete movies as well starting in LittleBIGPlanet 2.

While the servers of the original trilogy + LittleBIGPlanet PSP, LittleBIGPlanet Vita, & LittleBIGPlanet Karting have unfortunately shut down, with the last server (LittleBIGPlanet 3 PS4) being shut down in 2024, there have recently been numerous attempts to revive & experience the "share" of "play create share" once more via private servers.
